Dark red mini romaine.
The compact, mini heads are dark red even in the North. Plants avg. 6–8″ in height and fill out nicely. Market as a 3-pack with a green, and a bronze red variety. Utility Patent granted. High resistance to downy mildew races EU 16–26, 28–37; US 5–9 and tomato bushy stunt virus (lettuce dieback complex); and intermediate resistance to lettuce mosaic virus.
